An Open Letter to the Honourable King of the United Kingdom For Retracting Mr. Ajay Piramal’s CBE Award

Sub: Requesting for Retracting Mr. Ajay Piramal’s Honorary CBE Award with Immediate Effect

Your Majesty,

First of all, we must bestow our grief in the memory of the late Queen. Mourning for all mortals has never been ended in the planet earth.

In reference to the two open letters written to Her Majesty⤡ dated 26^th May, 2022, and 28^th June, 2022 respectively, we wish to reiterate the issue of Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) awarded to Mr. Ajay Piramal in 2022. We are humbly submitting to you Mr. Ajay Piramal’s Curriculum Vitae as perceived by different newspapers and news channels across national as well as international levels.

We wish to question the said honorary award given to a person like Mr. Ajay Piramal, who is:

1. an alleged insider trader

The DHFL scam, as manufactured by the ruling party in collusion with a few selected corporate tycoons like Mr. Piramal, is the cause of financial abuse of millions of innocent Indian citizens. They have lost their hard-earned life savings in the DHFL scam, regarding which Mr. Piramal is totally blind and deaf. The DHFL victims, the lesser mortals, are mourning for their hard-earned money due to Mr. Piramal’s controversial bidding.

Though Mr. Piramal likes to project himself as a philanthropic (it is part of his Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR to save Income Tax) paramavaisnava (an ardent follower of non-violent Vaisnava cult), he hides his cruel intentions behind that pretentious curtain.

After knowing so much about the deeds of Mr. Ajay Piramal, according to our perception, he is not the person who deserves a CBE. On the contrary, it is an insult to the other renowned CBE awardees.

Though we know that it is carrying coal to Newcastle, as it is an open letter, we are reiterating the eligibility criteria for getting a CBE for the sake of greater public interest:

The CBE is awarded for having a prominent but lesser role at national level, or for a leading role at regional level. One can also get a CBE for a distinguished or innovative contribution to any area of concern. The CBE awards are given out twice a year: in the King’s Birthday Honours List in June and in the New Year’s Honours List on the 1st January. CBE recipients are then invited to attend an investiture ceremony at either Buckingham Palace or one of the Royal households, where they will receive their CBE medal from the King or his representative from The Royal Family.

Hence, in conclusion, we must earnestly state again that Mr. Piramal, due to the reasons stated above, does not in any manner deserve a highly prestigious British royal award like the CBE. It must be retracted by your majesty’s concerned authority in the earliest possible manner.

We, the victims of the DHFL scam, are now suffering from a different sort of “capital” punishment due to Mr. Piramal’s deeds. Sadly, even after getting freedom from the British Raj, India is still “partly free” according to the various international media houses:
