CAMPAIGN CONTEXT (AN OVERVIEW)

Mr. Ajay Piramal, with the help of Reserve Bank of India (RBI)-appointed Committee of Creditors (CoC) for DHFL, is forcibly occupying the ongoing solvent company Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DHFL) by spending spending a single penny, while depriving the multitude of small FD, NCD and Shareholders. He, with the aid of the ruling party of the Republic of India, is totally ignoring the step-by-step legal processes. 

This is a gross violation of the human rights of the investors of DHFL, who are victims of manufactured financial abuse, perpetrated jointly by the ruling party, Piramal Enterprises, the RBI and the associated CoC for DHFL. They are violating the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights ⤡  in this context, “Access to remedy for victims of business-related abuses”.
